Apostle Dr. Gary L. Jenkins has named Bishop Abraham Wafula Wekesa of Kitale as Apostle-Elect and Overseer of all Sword of the Spirit Ministry operations in Africa.

The appointment is the result of much prayer and guidance by the Holy Ghost. Apostle Jenkins and Apostle-Elect Wekesa have been in long distance fellowship for over a year. The two would pray together over the phone and correspond via email encouraging one another. Apostle Jenkins is planning a trip to Kenya to conduct a crusade for Jesus and to officially consecrate and install Apostle-Elect Wekesa to the Office of Apostle. Apostle=Elect Wekesa will continue to oversee all functions of The Sword of the Spirit Ministries, in Africa. In a recent email, Apostle-Elect Abraham Wafula Wekesa shared part of his testimony and relationship with The Sword of the Spirit.

MY HISTORY AND THE MINISTRY THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT MINISTRY AFRICA.

This is my History I apostle elect Abraham Wafula Wekesa. I’m a brother who was born in a poor family as the first born to my mum.

I went through a hard life in my life especially in education. I have been a herds boy, a house boy and a gardener. I have also worked in a restaurant. Before the calling of God I was working in a bakery.

When, I was continuing with this work I was frequently sick and immediately I was retrenched and stopped working because of my health condition. When this happened I was a stress because I was a bread – winner to our family, then I was wondering what will I do?
Immediately sickness got me and it took three years. I was taken to different hospitals and even diviners but I didn’t get well or healed.

The third year when I was a sleep to the point of death, I heard a voice, God speaking to me that I have healed you and have chosen you in this generation. You are my servant. From that time I immediately received new strength and this voice assumed me that I have given prophesy, the hand of healing and preaching to the world to you to deliver my message.

On that time, the following day I was up. Then started telling the family i.e. father and mother and all my brother s and neighbours that I have been healed by God and telling them God has released and ordained me to deliver His message in this generation,

At that time I was 21 year old. God started using me and then looked for the nearest church to deliver his message. After two months I was appointed as a Youth leader I did this for two years of which thereafter I qualified to be a pastor.

When God saved and healed me from sickness Our family had not known Jesus my first opportunity I spoke to my father and mother and my brothers and sisters to save them from evil Immediately I prayed for them and anointed them. Now, my joy is that my father and mother are pastors in our ministry The Sword of the Spirit Ministry.

From, that opportunity I continued to preach on streets towns and every where of which people through I’m mad but it was God speaking through me. From those who heard this voice and accepted I prayed for them and ordained them. To teach those in name of the father the son and Holy Spirit and also water baptism for those who qualified to be leaders made them to be elders and to others were members. This is what made me to entire the ministry of God I knew that I’m as servant of God and need to set people free and let them come out of sin see the light of God.

This is the work am doing in Africa as the representative of the sword of the spirit ministry. Thanks you for hearing me and the way I have entered the ministry of God in my life to stand with the ministry. After two years, I was appointed to a reverent when I was a reverent It came a shake up in the ministry then I asked God what can I do, so God spoke to me to start a ministry.

When I was started I received a official ordination from leaders of other friendly ministries i.e. Bishops and apostles and they made me to enter the office of Bishop officially. I have been in an office of Bishop for one year and God gave me a vision to have a wife. And the following year I got married to Jane Sylvia Wafula.

This surprised most people for me to be a Bishop without a wife But in all continued to humble before God until his best timing came. After two years, me and my wife were in a hard life, but we saw in the ministry that there were orphans and widows who were suffering. And decided so start a project for this orphans and widows.

I have gone through hardships to make sure the project is firm by glory of God. I as apostle elect have four children first born is Ron Wanjala Wafula, Margaret Nekesa Wafula, Sherry Nafula Wafula, and Paul Wanyoni Wafula.

Churches I apostle – elect Abraham Wafula Wekesa, I have managed to put up the ministry of the sword of spirit ministry in Africa as the representative under the leadership of my Chief Apostle Dr. Garry.

Concerning the churches Kenya, 40 churches are on rental houses in Kenya and in Uganda 7 are in rental building and the other we have build a semi permanent. These are the Churches of the Sword of the Spirit ministry in Africa. We have 42 churches in Kenya and 8 in Uganda. I have projects for orphans and widows here in Kenya and Uganda.

In our projects we have workers who need to be paid.
The problem that touches the ministry in Africa is this
1) orphans need to have enough foods
2) they should have enough facility
3) they should have their land
4) They should have sponsors to support them.
5) They should have their own school
6) They should have their home because currently we are in rental houses and is the same with widows and destitute.

The needs of our ministry in Africa
1. It need a headquarter a big church and all the facilities of the ministry will be there (head offices)
2. It needs to build churches in every district that has a branch of the sword of the spirit ministry.


I’m giving this as the representative of The Ministry here in Africa to friends and sponsors whom God can speak and touch to stand with us in this session we want enough materials because we don’t have among others vehicles for transportation e.t.c

We need to have instruments e.t.c. as the ministry.
The sword of the spirit ministry is moving very powerfully in Africa and I thank God for what He is doing.

Everybody who will read this, pray for us pray for the ministry for God to open ways for us to fulfill his promises in this generation
Our aim is to preach and set the captives free and speak salvation to the perishing
